Traditional English Village

Beginning at the Pavilion in Torquay. A brief tutorial about the tour and Torquay, especially concerning the life and times of Dame Agatha Christie. Then, onto the coach for Paignton Train Station.

Arrive at the Dartmouth Steam Train Station for a ride back in time. Enjoy stunning views, the sound of steam-driven pistons, and the scent of coal smoke as we meander along the seaside.

From Kingswear, a short coach ride to Greenway House, for a tour of the  magnificent Georgian mansion used by Agatha Christie as a Summer home.

Depart Greenway, taking the ferry along the River Dart to Dartmouth, a quintessential English seaside village. Stop in at the Seven Stars, Dartmouth's oldest pub dating back to the sixteenth century for a pint. From here it is a couch ride to the majestic and mysteries World of the Moors in Dartmoor, and to learn more about the "Hound of the Baskervilles". A stop at Taylor's Tea from for a scrumptious cream tea in Ashburton, a village right out of a Miss Marple story.

From the tea room, back to Torquay, passing by Compton Castle, and through the Iron Age village of Cockington before returning to the Torquay Pavilion.
